Hunter Language School Team

Roland started Hunter Language School at the start of 2016. He is a CELTA and DELTA qualified teacher and teacher trainer with experience teaching and managing schools in Oxford, London, Edinburgh, Istanbul and Bristol. Roland says 'Teaching is definitely a passion for me, engaging students and helping them develop their language and life skills is always the goal.'

Tez is a CELTA and DELTA qualified teacher and teacher trainer, with experience teaching in the south of Spain and managing summer schools here in the UK. Languages have always been a passion for him, he studied Linguistics at the University of Manchester and has learnt four foreign languages during his lifetime. Helping other people on their language learning journey gives him a great sense of satisfaction. In his free time, Tez is very interested in different styles of dance, particularly Salsa and Bachata.

Yelena is our friendly Administrative assistant, she recently moved back to Bristol from London. 

Her work has always revolved around people with a background in events, music, film and marketing. Yelena is now studying Kiswahili and entrepreneurship longside working at Hunter language school. 

Yelena strives to ensure all the students are well looked after and have a great experience in the school and are welcomed as part of the community!

George is a CELTA qualified English teacher with teaching experience in his home town of Salisbury, South America and northern Spain. George’s approach to teaching is to create a highly interactive, engaging and energetic learning experience for all of his students. George believes building positive relationships with his students and creating an overall friendly environment within the classroom are crucial to student success.

Nicholas - English Teacher

Nicholas is a Trinity CertTESOL qualified English teacher with teaching experience in London, Oxford and Saudi Arabia. He has also lived and travelled in the United States, Poland, Greece and other countries. Nicholas focuses on building communication skills and enhancing students’ listening and reading comprehension skills. Nicholas also encourages students to express themselves, develop their self-confidence and share their opinions and ideas in an open and friendly environment. Nicholas enjoys reading, travelling and computer games in his spare time. 

Tom is a CELTA qualified teacher from London. He has just completed a Diploma in Education and Training and is currently working towards his DipTESOL alongside work. As well as having worked in various language schools across Bristol and in the mainstream education sector, he also taught in Spain for two years. Tom likes to adopt a variety of approaches in his lessons, responding to the needs of the learners and focusing on natural communication. For him it is essential to create a supportive environment where learners can experiment and therefore grow in confidence.

Franie is a CELTA qualified English teacher, who is currently studying English Language and Linguistics at UWE university. Most recently, Franie spent a year in Cyprus teaching English to all ages and levels. As well as her passion towards languages and language acquisition, Franie enjoys creatively tailoring lessons to suit each students’ educational needs and desires. Franie says, “As a student myself, I am eager to make sure all of my lessons deliver a confident outcome and to ensure that students thoroughly enjoy their language-learning journey.”

Louis is a CELTA qualified teacher from Dorset on the south coast of England with experience teaching at all levels in a variety of different environments. He has spent several years living in various European countries, and therefore understands the many joys and challenges of language learning. His main aim as a teacher is to create a friendly, relaxed and open classroom environment in which all students can learn with confidence and enthusiasm. As well as being a passionate teacher, Louis is also an active musician in the Bristol music scene.

Patrick - English Teacher

Patrick is a CELTA qualified teacher with experience teaching English to students of all ages, in his hometown of Oxford and across South America. In his lessons he focuses on creating an engaging learning environment and friendly, conversational atmosphere where students feel comfortable and are able to develop their skills. In his spare time he enjoys music, reading, cooking and cycling. He’s also passionate about travelling the world and discovering different cultures.

Eoin is a CELTA qualified teacher from Bristol. He decided to move into teaching after spending 15 years in restaurant management.

He has travelled widely across Europe, spending the majority of his time in France & Spain. 

Eoin likes to create a positive and fun atmosphere in the classroom. He believes students can learn and develop well in this type of environment.

Malena is a passionate Spanish teacher from Argentina. She studied History of Arts at the University of Buenos Aires, before moving to Paris to explore the culture, teach Spanish and study her MA in dance. Malena moved to Bristol two years ago to continue challenging herself professionally and to develop your linguistic skills. She loves to see her students exploring and learning the Spanish language while discovering Latin American culture and history.
