Hunter Language School Team
Roland started Hunter Language School at the start of 2016. He is a CELTA and DELTA qualified teacher and teacher trainer with experience teaching and managing schools in Oxford, London, Edinburgh, Istanbul and Bristol. Roland says 'Teaching is definitely a passion for me, engaging students and helping them develop their language and life skills is always the goal.'

Meabh is our friendly Welfare Officer, she has recently moved to Bristol from Dorset. She has also previously lived in and learnt the languages of both Ireland and Wales. Meabh is now studying french and also conservation alongside working at Hunter Language School. She strives to ensure all pupils are well catered for during their time studying with us.

George is a CELTA qualified English teacher with teaching experience in his home town of Salisbury, South America and northern Spain. George’s approach to teaching is to create a highly interactive, engaging and energetic learning experience for all of his students. George believes building positive relationships with his students and creating an overall friendly environment within the classroom are crucial to student success.

Lorella - English Teacher
Lorella is a CELTA qualified teacher who studied English Literature and French at University. She went on to teach English in Thailand and China for two years, and realised that her passion was teaching. She speaks French fluently, and can anticipate the problems students may face when learning another language. Lorella likes to focus on pronunciation, accuracy, she loves building rapport and seeing students' confidence grow.
Francesca is a CELTA qualified teacher, who studied English Literature at the University of Bristol. She has taught in Bristol, Edinburgh and Granada, Spain. Francesca believes that building confidence and developing fluency in every-day situations is central to students' success.

Franie is a CELTA qualified English teacher, who is currently studying English Language and Linguistics at UWE university. Most recently, Franie spent a year in Cyprus teaching English to all ages and levels. As well as her passion towards languages and language acquisition, Franie enjoys creatively tailoring lessons to suit each students’ educational needs and desires. Franie says, “As a student myself, I am eager to make sure all of my lessons deliver a confident outcome and to ensure that students thoroughly enjoy their language-learning journey.”

Oliver is a CELTA qualified teacher with experience teaching in Italy, Bulgaria and England. Oliver believes in building positive relationships and creating an inspiring and inclusive atmosphere in which learning is an enjoyable experience. As well as teaching, Oliver also works as a playwright, theatre producer, and drama facilitator.

Anna is originally from Tours, France and recently moved to Bristol after having lived both in Germany and Austria where she studied and worked as a French Teaching Assistant. Anna enjoys teaching real-life everyday French to her students and helping them build their confidence in using the language freely.

Jorge is an enthusiastic Spanish teacher from the south of Spain. He studied Translation and Interpreting but realised that teaching was his passion. Jorge speaks English and French and is keen to learn more foreign languages. He has been living in Paris for a year and has been teaching Spanish in a secondary school. He loves to see his students having fun and laughing in the class while learning and tries to encourage them as much as possible.

Helen is from Brazil and has been living in Bristol for almost 2 years. Helen loves technology and design, she likes to talk a lot and meeting new people. She draws as a hobbie and really enjoys learning english. Helen thinks that there is nothing better than dancing and travelling.

Louis is a CELTA qualified teacher from Dorset on the south coast of England with experience teaching at all levels in a variety of different environments. He has spent several years living in various European countries, and therefore understands the many joys and challenges of language learning. His main aim as a teacher is to create a friendly, relaxed and open classroom environment in which all students can learn with confidence and enthusiasm. As well as being a passionate teacher, Louis is also an active musician in the Bristol music scene.

Malena is a passionate Spanish teacher from Argentina. She studied History of Arts at the University of Buenos Aires, before moving to Paris to explore the culture, teach Spanish and study her MA in dance. Malena moved to Bristol two years ago to continue challenging herself professionally and to develop your linguistic skills. She loves to see her students exploring and learning the Spanish language while discovering Latin American culture and history.
